Fredrick B. Perrin, 80, of Jamestown, passed away after many years of illness at UPMC Chautauqua on Saturday, September 20, 2025. He was born in Corry, PA on December 9, 1944, to the late Gerald and Leora Sullivan Perrin.

Fred worked for many years as a computerized glass cutter at Falconer Plate Glass. In later years, Frewsburg Rest Home knew him as a handy maintenance man, as Brookdale cherished his countless trips as a bus driver for residents.

The Salvation Army was an important part of Fred's life, where he served as an usher.

Family was an important part of Fred's life. He enjoyed when everyone was together; moreover, he listened to lots of country music and watched plenty of TV, fancying NASCAR races. Camping in the great outdoors made him happy, as did pontoon boating.

Fred will be missed by his wife, Theresa Brunecz Perrin, whom he married July 4, 1968; his children, Penelope Stevens, Frederick (Lisa) Perrin, Jr., Brenda Lee Waygood, and Bryan Perrin; many grandchildren; his brother, Dennis; and his half siblings, Tom, Gary, and Vern.

Besides his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald "Butch" Perrin; his sister, Bonnie; his half-brother, Dan; and his half-sister, Susie, who passed away as a young child.

Calling hours will be at The Salvation Army on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00am and the service will be at 12:00 noon, followed by a Celebration of Life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, 83 S Main Street, Jamestown, NY 14701.
