Baugh Glover, lived with the family and had a major role in her upbringing. Frieda always shared fond memories of her grandmother with us. Frieda was a sharp-minded storyteller of her family history. After graduation she worked as a bank teller. She was introduced to her loving husband George by sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Herman Kuykendall. They were married on June 27, 1953, and spent 64 devoted years together. They relocated several times before settling into their forever home in Midlothian, Texas in the 1960's. George and Frieda enjoyed gardening, cooking, and preparing homemade ice cream. In later years, they became loyal Blue Bell customers; the Great Divide was her favorite! Frieda spent many years managing the bookwork for the family business, Michalka Concrete Inc. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, visiting with friends and neighbors, and corresponding with family. Her true joy was caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, supporting them through their own endeavors. She was an incredibly loving and nurturing woman who devoted her life to her family. She will be most remembered as "Our Queen Mamaw". The family would like to thank all staff and caregivers of Midtowne Meadows Health and Rehab and Alpha Omega Hospice for all the care and love shown during the past eight months.
