Frieda Bertha Thrasher, age 69, of Covington, KY, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. Born on July 20, 1955, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ervin and Virginia Milburn. Frieda was a spirited woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved watching wrestling and old western movies, and she could often be found sitting in the sun on her front porch, soaking in the world around her. She was especially known for her famous fried chicken and chili-recipes that brought her family together and will be cherished for generations. Family meant everything to Frieda. She adored spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love was deep and unwavering, and her door-and heart-were always open. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Virginia, and her siblings Marvin and Tina. Left to carry on her memory are her children: Billy (Sonia), Dennis (Kelli), David, Tonya (Hearld), Anthony, Lisa, and Amber; her siblings: Judy, Connie, Jeff, Timmy, Randy, and Dennis; her 32 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and strength lives on in each of them. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 W. 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011.
