Fuad Sakhleh, also known as Papa Freddy, age 83, of Knoxville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday night, September 13, 2025, after a long battle with cancer and other illnesses.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Sakleh, Linda Williams, partner and best friend of 40 years. Three loving stepdaughters, Robin Castleberry, Renee Patty, and April Bilek, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Brother Hanna Sakhleh, sisters Nabeeha Ibrahim, Nouha Hanna, Antoinette Sakhleh, Naheda Burbar, and Laila Karmi, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Freddy was preceded in death by his father, Issa Salem Sakhleh, and mother, Sophie El-Lossi. Brothers, Salem Sakhleh, Manuel Sakhleh, Nabih Sakhleh, and sisters Mary Isaac and Manuella Hishmeh.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Ghassan (Goo) Sakhleh, Richie Ardahji, Fuad (Fred) Dihu, and Ken Newman.

Freddy was born on May 3rd, 1942, in Jerusalem to Issa Salem Sakhleh and Sophie Issa El-Lossi.

Freddy came to America in 1962. He lived the American dream and through hard work, owned several businesses in his lifetime.

He enjoyed traveling, especially cruises. He loved football, fishing in the bay, and playing with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Oak Ridge Memorial Park Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with a service to follow at 11:30 AM and a graveside burial at 12:00 PM.
