Roy Rhea, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with liver cancer. He was 74 years old.

Roy lived a life defined by compassion, creativity, and adventure. He began his journey on the football field at Oak Ridge High School, where he was admired for both his talent and determination. He later dedicated part of his life to caring for others as a nurse, bringing kindness and comfort to his patients in their times of need. A true outdoorsman, Roy loved being on the water fishing, often accompanied by his two cherished poodles. His free spirit carried him on many adventures, including memorable trips to Montana with his son Kristopher and his dogs.

Roy was also an accomplished artist and people person, blending creativity with connection in every part of his life. Those who knew him admired his ability to balance hard work with joy, and his never-ending curiosity about the world around him. Family was the heart of Roy's life. He shared 48 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Melanie. Together they raised two children, Kristopher and Taylor, who were his greatest pride.

Roy will be remembered for his warmth, adventurous spirit, and the love he poured into his family and friends. His legacy lives on through all who were fortunate to know him. A celebration of Roy's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories and honor the remarkable man he was.
