WATERLOO - G. Bryon McQuilkin, 59, passed away Monday (September 16, 2024) with his loving family by his side in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Calling hours will be 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday (September 28th) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 W. Main St., Waterloo, NY. All are also welcome to attend a Celebration of Life luncheon 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday (September 29) at Vince's Park, 1608 Vince's Park Dr., Seneca Falls, NY.
Bryon was born August 23, 1965 in Chambersburg, PA, the son of George Benjamin and Virginia Lee Sprankle McQuilkin. He married the love of his life, Beth on September 20, 2002. Bryon was a machinist for well over twenty years at various places, but found his home and second family at Advanced Atomization in Clyde, NY. Bryon was an avid hunter, fisher and grill/smoker extraordinaire. He also enjoyed flying RC airplanes, racing RC cars, and spending time with his family.
Bryon is survived by his loving wife, Beth Ann McQuilkin of Waterloo, NY; daughter Chelsea (Frankie) Caswell of Seneca Falls, NY; granddaughter Iris Caswell; mother Virginia L. McQuilkin of Geneva, NY; sister Virginia "Lee" (Bill) Simms of Hudson, FL; in-laws Jim (Amber) Klehn of Mt. Morris, NY and Jodi (William Rodas) LaVoie of Clifton Springs, NY, Maria Colon of Las Vegas, NV; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many nieces, nephews, and family friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his father George Benjamin McQuilkin; and daughter Alexis M. Williamson.
