With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Gabriel Romero, 42, who left us on January 5, 2025. Gabe was born on October 18, 1982, in Denver Colorado, to parents Christine and Gabriel Sr. He grew up in Denver, where he attended South High School. After graduating high school, he worked various jobs and proudly obtained his HVAC and CDL licenses. Known for his unwavering dedication he often worked two jobs to provide for his family. Among his many roles, he most cherished his time working at the Cherry Creek Polo Club.
Gabe was not just a hard worker, but also a man of many interests. He was artistic and had a keen eye for art and antiques. He was a lotto ticket enthusiast; his highest win was $10,000. He treasured spending time with his family, whether it was barbecuing, fishing trips with the guys, camping adventures, snowboarding, or paddle boarding with his family and their beloved dog Roman. These memories are among the most cherished by his family.
Gabe was survived by his children Alyssa, Gabe, and Noah; his grandchildren Elianna, and Eliza; his mother Christine, his grandmother Bernice; and his sisters Angel, Natasha, and Brittany. He was also a beloved uncle to Monique, Michael, Mariah, Milo, Gio, Gracie, Zaniyah and Bella and will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Gabriel Sr., his grandmother Louisa, his grandfather Pat, his aunts Cindy and Dorothy, his nephew Matthew, and his best friend David.
A service to celebrate Gabriel Romero's life will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11:30 am at Aspen Mortuary, 1350 Simms St, Lakewood, CO 80401. All are welcome to attend, pay their respects, and share memories. Donations to the fund for purchasing a headstone can be made at https://gofund.me/b90499f2
