Gadge Dalton Garrett Stricklen was born on August 28, 2001, and passed from this life on September 24, 2025.
Gadge lived life on his own terms, full of energy, joy, and a spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a deep love for motorcycles, often seen flying down the road on two wheels, and sometimes just one, as he wheelied past with his signature grin.
By far his happiest day was the day he married the love of his life, Kylie. He might've been known for wheelies and wild rides, but everyone knew the real thrill of his life was Kylie. He would light up when he spoke about her. To him, she was home.
A proud supporter of the Second Amendment, Gadge cared deeply about firearm education and responsible ownership. He was passionate about sharing knowledge and standing up for what he believed in.
Above all, Gadge loved his family. He made it a priority to stay in touch, whether at gatherings or with a quick phone call or text, and his big smile and easygoing nature will be missed in every room and at every holiday.
In quieter moments, Gadge found peace in nature, especially when fishing, casting a line and enjoying the stillness of the outdoors.
In his professional life, Gadge brought humor, positivity, and warmth to every shift. His coworkers at Amazon remember him as someone who could always bring a smile to their faces, even on the hardest days.
Gadge is survived by his beloved wife, Kylie Stricklen; his mother, Amber Stricklen; sisters, Shelby and Aimee Stricklen; brothers, Blake and Aceson Stricklen; grandmothers, Dana Anderson and Jennifer Watson; uncle Jimmy Smith and his wife Marsha; cousins Hailey, James, Jax, Jesse, and Molly; uncle Jacob Smith and his wife Makaela and their children; uncles Dalton King, Garrett King and family, and Dustyn Stricklen; and grandfather Jimmy Fogle.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ty Oneal; grandfather, Jimmy Smith Sr.; great-grandfather, Frank Smith; great-grandmothers, Diana Bohnenkemp and Linda Smith; and his dear friend, Jemi Bookman.
Gadge's light burned bright and fast, but the impact of his life will echo for years to come. He will be remembered for his fearless heart, unwavering loyalty, and the joy he brought to those lucky enough to know him.
