Gail Jacobs Dial, 62, was born on September 2, 1963, in Guilford County, NC, to the late Howard and Mary Jacobs. She departed this life on December 9, 2025, at UNC–Southeastern Regional Hospital. Gail was a devoted Wife, Mother, Nana, Great-grandmother, and Sister who loved her family deeply.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Jacobs and Willoughby Jacobs; her maternal grandparents, Thelma Hammonds Huggins and Woodrow Huggins; and her paternal grandparents, Roman and Emma Jacobs.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Dr. Woodrow Dial, of the home, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage. She is also survived by one daughter, Ondrieal Lowry (Bryan); five grandchildren, Mia Lowry, Mariah Hunt, Michael C. Hunt Jr., Bryan Ransom Jr., and Chase Ransom; and six great-grandchildren, Kelo Lowry, Nova Chavis, Neaveh Fontanez, Nyla Lewis, Bryan Ransom III, and Avi'ana Ransom.

Gail is also survived by two brothers, Larry Hammonds of Maxton, NC, and Howard Jr. Jacobs of Laurinburg, NC; and five sisters, Teresa Comes of Baltimore, MD, Beverly Woods, Ethena Locklear, Mary Locklear, and Jessica Jacobs, all of Pembroke, NC. She leaves behind a host of relatives and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
