Gail M. (Conti) Farris, 85, of Methuen, MA, longtime resident of Reading, MA, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Mary Immaculate Healthcare Center in Lawrence, MA.
Born in Woburn, MA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Rogers) Conti.
Gail left behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Known for her adventurous spirit, Gail found joy in long drives along scenic routes, hiking through nature's beauty, and basking in the sun at the beach. Her passion for vacationing brought her family together, creating bonds that will last a lifetime. She was famous for her warm, gooey chocolate chip cookies, a treat that brought smiles to all who tasted them. Fiercely loyal and devoted to her family, Gail's heart was especially full when surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose laughter and joy were her greatest treasures.
Gail will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Deb Brophy and her husband, Bob of North Reading, MA, and Denise Ord of Methuen, MA, sons, Grayel Farris and his partner, Heather Rogers of Pembroke, NH, and Scott Farris of Nashua, NH, sister, Barbara Green and her husband, John of Reading, brother, John Conti of Connecticut, as well as eleven grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. Gail was predeceased by her sister Delores Surette, grandson, Taylor, and son-in-law, Richard Ord.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to calling hours on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. A Funeral Service for Gail will take place at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home, followed by burial in Wood End Cemetery, 33 Franklin St. Reading, MA.
