Gail D. Flood

Gail D. Flood, 76, a 50-year resident of Vernon, formerly of Latham, New York, beloved wife of over 52 years to Warren H. "Butch" Flood Jr., passed away unexpectedly, at home, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Gail was born on September 12, 1949, in Troy, New York, the only child of the late Arthur and Gloria Dubois.

She was raised in Latham and was a graduate of Latham High School. Gail attended Hudson Valley Community College. She was employed as an insurance clerk for the Connecticut General Insurance Company in Bloomfield for over 30 years. Along with raising her family, Gail was an avid doll collector. Her cherished collection includes Porcelain, Cabbage Patch, Steiff Bears and Miffy Rabbits.

In addition to her husband, Butch, she is survived by her loving and dedicated son, Warren H. Flood III. of Vernon and her two grand pets, Shelby & Milo.

At the request of Gail's family, all services and inurnment in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Albany New York will be private. There are no calling hours.
