Gail M. Getts was born on October 25, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Joseph Norton and Lucille Norton (nee Loy). Gail passed away on August 28, 2023. She is preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Marrone, and is the beloved sister of Lynn (Jack) Eagleeye. Gail worked professionally in Respite Care assisting others in need. She is lovingly described as being selfless, encouraging, and untraditional. She donated to others in need; showing love to all and being there for anyone in need. She was very spiritual; enjoyed reading the Bible and practiced what she preached. Gail loved cooking, baking, flowers, gardening, feeding the birds, and her cat: Egypt. She was an avid recycler and enjoyed sudoku and going to the local public libraries. She lived for her beloved family and will be greatly missed. Gail is survived by her children: Tony (Susie) Getts, Shannon (Matt) Donahue, Heather (Don) Glenn, Joseph (Krissy) Getts, and Ashley Getts. She is the loving grandmother of Joey, Lucy, Annie, and Charlie Getts, Gracie Donahue, Lindsey Matthewson, Kassie Winkle, Della and Tommy Getts, and Stone Workman. As well as the cherished great-grandmother of Lilly, Calvin, and Cymon Matthewson, and one on the way: Baby Lincoln. A private interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070. In lieu of flowers, and in recognition of Gail's giving nature, the family welcomes contributions to The Salvation Army, as an expression of sympathy. https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/ways-to-give/
