Gail Thomas Godwin
1935-2024
Originally from New Jersey, Gail moved to Florida with her family as a young girl. She attended Ft. Pierce Highschool and went on to attend the University of Florida. She worked in the banking industry before becoming the mother of four children and a home maker. She was married for 68 years to her husband Charles Godwin. She loved anything related to crafting and was an accomplished seamstress, quilter, and embroiderer. She volunteered throughout her life including her children's activities, church, and community functions. She was a faithful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed by her children Pamela (John) Godwin-Stewart, Jeff Godwin, Mark (Marsha) Godwin, and Leslie Godwin, her five grandchildren Alison Stewart, Evan Stewart, Lindsey Zucker, Hunter Godwin, Hayden Godwin, and her great-grandchild Avery Wolf.
May God receive you with open arms.

I spent many days and nights at the Godwin household as Gail´s son Jeff is one of my best friends. Gail was one of the kindest and sweetest ladies that I have ever known. She was always so welcoming when we would be hanging out at their house. I have so many good memories of spending time there. Gail you will be dearly missed!
