She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Lawrence Hoelscher; her grandson, Matthew Hoelscher and is survived by her children, David Hoelscher (Marian), Lisa Hoelscher, and Greg Hoelscher (Pam). Proud grandmother of Skylar Hoelscher, Joe Hoelscher, Alyssa Hoelscher, Courtney Hoelscher, Alex Hoelscher (April), and Drew Hoelscher; her great-grandson, Blake Llamas as well as many close friends and extended family members.
Memorial contributions are encouraged in Gail's name to the Alzheimer's Association-Greater Michigan Chapter, 25200 Telegraph Road, Suite 100 Southfield, MI 48033. Please see the provided link below for online donations.
Visitation will take place from 3:00PM - 8:00PM on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Lynch and Sons, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, MI 48381. A rosary service will begin at 7:00PM.
Funeral services from St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church, 555 S. Lilley Rd, Canton Township, MI 48188 on Saturday, October 11, 2025 beginning at 11:00AM. Family and friends may gather at the church starting at 10:30AM. Burial to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan.
