Gail A. (Lehman) Springfield, 80, of Hubbardston, died in her sleep Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in her home.
Born in Worcester on October 23, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Robert I. and Margaret L. (Cook) Lehman. She graduated from West Boylston High School with the Class of 1959.
Gail enjoyed reading and working on crafts. She loved being outside, enjoying nature and wildlife, especially gardening and bird watching. Gail was a homemaker whose greatest joy was found when she was with her family, treasuring all the special moments together.
Gail is survived by two sons, Robert A. Springfield and his wife Debra of South Berwick, ME, and Albert J. Springfield and his wife Robin of Princeton; three daughters, Carol D. Vautour of Hubbardston, Tammy L. Miskell of Indiana, and Marguerite L. Donaldson of West Chesterfield, NH; fifteen grandchildren, Thomas Pilling and his wife Laura, Margie Nicholas and her husband William, Mary and Jared Vautour, Robert Portwood and his wife Carly, Sarah Portwood, Kathleen Smith, Anna, Lauren and Nathan Springfield, Zachary Donaldson, and Cody Donaldson and his wife Nikia, Gabriel, Owen and Elizabeth Springfield; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Fleming and her husband Jim of Kingston, RI, and Darleen Lehman of West Boylston; a brother, Robert Lehman and his wife Kathy of West Boylston; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62-years, Albert D. Springfield, who died on January 31, 2022.
A Celebration of Gail's Life will be announced and held at a later date.
