Gail L. Sutton, age 71 of Moundsville, WV died Sunday, April 6, 2025 in WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.
She was born August 22, 1953 in Wheeling, WV the daughter of the late Paul E. (Step-Mother, Franny Sutton) and Mary Ellen Crow Sutton.
She was a Christian by faith; enjoyed playing Bingo; was an avid Steelers Fan; and a member of the Eagles and VFW Post 1212.
Survivors include her three children, Christina Neely of Glen Dale, Stephanie (Jay) Tharp of Frederick Town., PA, and Michael (Daniel) Scyoc of Ocala, FL; her companion, Charlie Barnes; three brothers, Judo (Mickie) Sutton, Paul (Nickie) Sutton, and Roy Sutton; a sister, Janet (John) Kimble; four step-sisters, Mary (Cal) Landis, Patty Burge, Nancy Dickey, and Marsha (Chuck) Rush; a step-brother, Cliff Burge; five grandchildren, Brittany Neely, Mackenzie Neely, Mashae Anderson, Sabrina Smith, and Billy Parker, III; eight great-grandchildren; and her life-long friend, Dottie Cunningham.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3-6pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1pm with Donna Burton officiating.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at WVU Reynolds Hospital for their care and compassion, and we will keep the wonderful staff in our hearts.
