Gail Witten, 89, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at her residence with her family by her side.
Mrs. Witten was a member of the Stovall United Methodist Church, Radcliff, KY and she also enjoyed attending Vine Grove United Methodist Church. Mrs. Witten retired from Farmer's Deposit Bank and devoted many years to American National Insurance Company, where she exhibited her dedication to excellence and her ability to inspire those around her. Outside of her professional life, Gail was an active participant in numerous organizations. She had an unwavering enthusiasm for life's simple pleasures, which included playing tennis, biking, and walking. Gail was also an avid card player, a pastime that allowed her to engage with friends. Her love for these activities was surpassed only by her love for her family and being around people.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thomas Witten; her parents, Carter & Anna Hunt; and a sister, Martha Jo Shelley.
Survivors include Two daughters, Gwen Witten Upchurch & her husband, Ken of Bloomington, IN, Lisa Witten-Gibson & her husband, Glen of Shepherdsville, KY; two grandchildren, Ethan Upchurch, Mackenzie Gibson and a host of many friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Vine Grove United Methodist Church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Witten will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Vine Grove United Methodist Church with Pastor Claudia Nava-Galloway and Pastor Dan Paddack officiating. Burial will follow at the Stovall Cemetery, Radcliff, KY.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Cancer Society.
