Witten, Dorothy "Dottie" A. age 80 of Tipp City, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025. She was born June 4, 1944 in Cubage, Kentucky to the late Melvin and Edith {Hensley} Green. Dottie is preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Irene Borger, Josephine Bear, Robert Green, John Green, Marie Skiles and Doris Ann Green. She is survived by her former husband and close friend; Hugh Witten, children; Darlene (Michael) Overbay and Doug (Terri) Witten. Dottie is also survived by her grandchildren; Sam Witten, Taylor and Morgan Witten.
Dottie's enjoyed gardening, working outside in the yard, and soaking up the sun. She liked watching sports, including baseball and golf. If she was in the house, you'd find her cooking up a big meal or baking one of her favorite desserts. She had strong faith in God and enjoyed attending bible study. She loved her family dearly and spending time with her kids and grandkids – playing games, listening to music, and dancing. Dottie was a special lady and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A private family graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Online condolences may be expressed at www.fringsandbayliff.com.
