Gale Klostermann, 72, passed away on July 20, 2025, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Born on May 5, 1953, in Woodbury, New Jersey, to Lewis and Rita Lawrence, Gale later made Fort Pierce her home. She earned her associate’s degree and went on to serve as a substitute teacher, specializing in music and special education. She also worked as the office manager for her family’s business, Gale Mist II.

A member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Gale was a woman of deep faith and even deeper love for her family. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, and one of her greatest joys in life was being a grandmother to her granddaughter Jaelyn. Gale had a green thumb and especially cherished caring for orchids. She was known for her warm heart, friendly spirit, generosity and ability to connect with anyone she encountered, and incredible devotion to her home and family.

Survivors include her loving husband, Joseph F. Klostermann, Jr.; children, Joseph W. (Julie Boskey) Klostermann of Fort Pierce, FL, and Dawn (Eugene Patterson) Klostermann of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Jaelyn Patterson and her “bonus grandchild,” Jesse McInerney III; and brothers, Gary Lawrence of South Carolina, David Lawrence of Colorado Springs, CO, and Troy Lawrence of Fort Pierce, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Rita Lawrence.
