Gari Delynn Offet (Hall)
November 29, 1966 – March 11, 2025
Gari Delynn Offet (Hall), a cherished wife, daughter, mother, step-mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, departed this life on March 11, 2025 following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Gari was born on November 29, 1966, in Toledo, Ohio, to Kathryn (Milton) Roop and Gary (Marilyn) Hall. She grew up surrounded by the love of her brothers Greg Hall (Joseph) and Kristopher (Clara) Hall, along with several step-brothers and step-sisters. Her life was filled with love and laughter, marked by her unwavering support and presence for those she held dear.
Gari graduated from Swanton High School in 1985 and went on to study criminal justice and psychology. At the time of her passing, she was in the process of obtaining her bachelor's degree at Walden University, driven by her desire to help people struggling with addiction and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
In 2008, Gari entered into a marriage with Albert Offet, creating a partnership rooted in mutual respect and love. Gari's greatest accomplishment was the love and devotion she gave to her children, Victoria (Carl) Davis and Justin Keller, as well as her step-children, Michelle and Ashley Offet, whom she cherished dearly.
Gari was deeply connected to the mysteries of the universe, finding peace in her exploration of spirituality. Her absence serves as a gentle reminder to those she encountered: to honor the unseen forces that connect us all and to find balance and beauty in the everyday.
An enthusiast of Harley motorcycles, Gari delighted in riding with her friends. She was particularly fond of the Tennessee mountains and many memories were made along her favorite road, the Tail of the Dragon. Surrounded by a tight-knit group of friends whom she lovingly referred to as her sisters, she received constant encouragement and affection. Her family is deeply grateful for the love and support they have received during this difficult time.
Gari's legacy lives on through her beloved grandchildren: Jayden Davis, Joycelynn Davis, Jaime Martin, Joseph (Azelynn) Offet, and Jess Issacs Jr. She was also eagerly looking forward to the arrival of a new granddaughter and her first great-grandchild. She is survived by many loved ones, as well as her beloved pets Ronnie (Ra), Cali, and Oden.
Upon her passing, Gari was greeted by a long list of close family and friends, too numerous to mention. Gari Delynn Offet will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will forever be a cherished part of our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held April 19, 2025 from 12-5pm at the American Legion, Holland Post 646, 1074 Clarion Ave, Holland, OH 43528. I am sad to hear of the passing of Gari, Gary and I shared many days riding motorcycles, and some of my fondest memories are of her and I rolling down the road. I´ll catch you on the next highway my friend
