Garrett Shepard Obituary
Garrett Dean Shepard, 22, of Nebo, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 at his residence.
He was born in McDowell County on October 27, 2002. Garrett was a proud co-owner of Shepard Constructors LLC. Known as a kind-hearted person, he truly loved the Lord. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and listening to music. Garrett looked forward to times spent with family and friends, especially when good food was involved. He will be deeply missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Marty Quinn.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, James and Debbie Shepard; two brothers, Gage Boggs (Shana) and Gavin Shepard (Britney); paternal grandparents, Dennis and Diane Shepard; maternal grandmother, Sue Quinn; and a number of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. in the Beam Celebration Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. and will be officiated by Pastor Dennis Hensley. Burial will follow at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
