Garry was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Wilma Jo (Halbert) Hockman; his brother, Garland L. Hockman; and his sister, Gloria Kay Hockman. He is survived by his wife, Lydia Mae (Fentress) Hockman; three step sons, Michael, Mark, and Kyle Bennett; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Marian Elaine Davis, and Rita Frances Hockman; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Bratcher and Rev. Ron Hockman officiating. Burial will follow in Haynes Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
