Garry D. Jarrett, 71, of Eastlake, OH, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025. Born on February 20, 1954, in Charleston, WV, Garry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Garry cherished his 45 years of marriage to his devoted wife, Idda Jarrett. Together, they built a life and raised three children: Danielle Chavez (Paulo), Brad Jarrett (Linnet), and Adam Jarrett. Garry was also a proud grandfather to Javier and Donovan. He leaves behind his sister, Jane LeBlanc (Mike), and many friends and family members.
Garry dedicated much of his professional life to the retail industry, serving as a manager at notable establishments such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Best Buy, and Minnesota Fabrics. His commitment to excellence and ability to nurture relationships made him a respected figure in his field. He was preceded in death by his parents H. "Footsie" and Mary "Rose" Jarrett.
A proud member of the Painesville Assembly of God, he found joy in family trips and eagerly supported his children at their sporting and extracurricular activities. An avid sports enthusiast, he passionately followed the Cleveland sports teams and the OSU Buckeyes.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 4 - 8:00 PM at Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations, 35400 Curtis Blvd. A funeral service will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM, also at the funeral home. Garry will be laid to rest at Willoughby Memorial Gardens.

Joan and I are ever so sorry we can't be there for you during your time of grieving. We are 1000 miles away. My favorite times with Gary were when Sister Workman, Gary, and myself taught the Manna class together at the Mentor Church of God. I've never seen Gary so happy. There were times when Gary was teaching that he would stop, get up from his chair, and just dance and worship the Lord. He is doing that now as I am writing this. All our love, Dave and Joan Dye.
