Tyrone L. Tamura

Tyrone L. Tamura, age 79, passed away on August 21, 2025. Tyrone was born on March 20, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to the late John and Lois Tamura. Tyrone lived a life rich with purpose and passion. As a dedicated Tool and Die Maker, he founded and ran his own successful business, Per-Form Tool and Mold Inc., for 25 remarkable years. Under his leadership, the company became a great success allowing him to sell in 2009. After selling the company, he moved to Houston, where he generously shared his knowledge and expertise by teaching the next generation his craft. His commitment to mentoring young individuals allowed many to pursue their dreams and start their own Tool and Die businesses, which will forever be a testament to his impact on the field. Tyrone is going to be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. Tyrone is survived by his son Michael J. Tamura; his brother, Roger Tamura (Cherie); his sister, Karen Tamura; his nephews, George (Bonnie), Thomas, and Trevor. He was also a great uncle and cousin to many more. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Cheryl Tamura-Frazier, and his nephew Kim Tamura. Family will receive friends from 3 - 7 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations 35400 Curtis Blvd. Eastlake, OH 44095. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 also at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio.
