Minerva Gressley

Min "Minerva" Gressley, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on August 20, 2025, just days shy of her 94th birthday. She was born on August 27, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Halim and Halla Houry. Min was the cherished wife of Gene, with whom she shared 59 joyful years of marriage until his passing. She is survived by her devoted children, David (Nessa) Gressley, Michael (Cindy) Gressley, and Patricia Gressley, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Kevin (Kelly), Bryan (Jasmine), and Grace (Matt). She will also be lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren, CJ and Rory. Min was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, and her siblings, who forever hold a special place in her heart. She found joy in exercising and taking pride in her yard, always making it a welcoming space. A long-time member of the Church of the Epiphany in Euclid, she valued her faith and community. Additionally, Min enjoyed being a member at the Willowick Senior Center, where she formed lasting friendships. As an avid reader and devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns, she loved to share stories and engage with others about her favorite team. In honor of Min's wishes, her services will be private.
