Beau Mauffray, 58 passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 surrounded by family at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, Ms. The oldest of three children he was born on June 26, 1965 to Garvin and Arlene Mauffray in Bay St. Louis, MS. Beau was an avid outdoorsman, before he became ill you could find him on the water or in the woods. He was the greatest "girl" dad any daughter could have and the best Papa to his grandchildren. A jokester, great storyteller and a Mama's boy till the end. He is preceded in death by his mother, Arlene "Toby" Mauffray; godmother, Linda "Nana" Mauffray; aunt, Sheila "Flossy" Griebel. He leaves behind his father, Garvin Mauffray, Sr. (Beverly); his daughters; Alicia Tyre (Don) and Samatha Breun (Steven); three grandchildren, Stevie Breun, Teagan Tyre, and Thomas Tyre, his sister, Darlene Buehler (Larry) and brother, Daniel "Boone" Mauffray (Polly). Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with Beau's wishes a memorial party will be on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Fenton Community Center, 2369 Kiln Delisle Road, Kiln, MS, from 4 pm to 8 pm. He wanted everyone to dress causal, eat and laugh all day. Please come out and celebrate "The Man, The Myth, The legend and Best Fishermen's life with us. A Private burial will be held at a later date at Rotten Bayou Cemetery in Diamondhead, MS. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Mauffray family in their time of need, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.

Mr. Mauffray, you always had a smile on your face and so positive about everything. You had away of making ppl feel like they were the only one in the room. Getting to know you over this past yr has been an honor. Every time I saw you you greeted me the smile " hey beautiful" then you would talk about how wonderful my smile is. I love you and sending all the hugs love to your family as well. I thank god for the opportunity to know such a wonderful soul. This is not just from me but from all of wound care at Memorial hospital.
