Gary Akin Obituary
in Dallas, Texas to Larry Akin and Georgia Stephens.
He enjoyed playing soccer and spending time with his family. His grandson Karson was the apple of his eye, but he loved his mother and sister deeply. He always took care of them when they needed him. He was the kind of person who would drop
whatever he was doing to help his friends and family. Gary's life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by him
understood that quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Gary is survived by his mother, Darleyne Stephens, sister Debra Guerin and her spouse, brother Larry Akin and his spouse, sister Nia Akin, brother William Akin, sister Kristi Akin, daughter Jessika Akin, grandson Karson Akin, aunt Sue Perez, cousin Randy Kelly,
several other cousins, aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Larry Akin.
