Gary Wayne Ashabranner of St. Peters, MO, passed away Friday, November 1st, 2024, at the age of 61.
He was born, December 28th, 1962, to Cecil and Barbara Ashabranner. Gary was a beloved brother to David Ashabranner, Rebecca Ashabranner, Glen (Wendy) Ashabranner, and Rick (Irene) Ashabranner. He was a cherished uncle to Brendan (Emma) Ashabranner, Anna Karagiannis, Megan Ashabranner, Corey Ashabranner, Kaden Ashabranner, and Austin Ashabranner, and was a devoted friend to many.
Gary grew up in St. Peters, MO, where he spent much of his time fishing and with his friends. He spent his college years at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa, and later returned to Missouri to spend nearly 40 years working at Mark Andy, Inc.
He had a passion for farming and mechanics. He co-owned a farm in Iowa where he enjoyed a lot of his time. When he wasn't farming, he could be found tinkering on one of his various projects in his machine shop.
Gary was incredibly loved and will be extremely missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held Monday, November 11, 2024, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Baue Funeral Home Cave Springs, 3950 West Clay Street. Funeral Service Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 11:30 am. Interment Saint Charles Memorial Gardens
The family encourages everyone to wear a flannel shirt to the visitation in memory of Gary.
