Gary Baitz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home and Cremations Services on Oct. 22, 2024.
Gary Lee Baitz, age 78, of Windfall, passed away at Howard Community Hospital in Kokomo, Indiana on Monday, October 21, 2024. He was born in Tipton, Indiana on June 15, 1946, to his parents, Robert Baitz and Louise (Brehm) Webb.
Gary was a 1964 graduate of Hamilton Heights High School. He spent his life doing the work he loved as a farmer. Gary enjoyed fishing and loved classic cars.
Gary was a hard-working man that walked to the beat of his own drum. He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke. He was a very loyal friend that naturally drew others to him. Gary never tried to be anyone other than his true self; he was unapologetically himself.
Those left to carry on Gary's legacy of love are his children, Courtney Baitz, Dustin Baitz; grandchildren, Parker Cox; and loyal friends that were like family, Duane (Roxanne) Nation, Tyler Nation, and Kayden Nation.
Gary was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Robert Baitz and Louise Webb; and six siblings.
A funeral service will be held in honor of Gary on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home, located at 314 N. Main St. In Tipton. Visitation for family and friends will take place prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Committal will take place at Brookside Cemetery.
Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Baitz family in their time of need. Please feel free to leave an online condolence or share a special memory of Gary with his family on his tribute wall.

So sorry for his family´s loss. He will be missed by the JC class of 1965!
