Gary Edward Ballman II

Gary Edward Ballman II, age 48, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2025. Born on September 10, 1976, in Covington, KY, Gary was the cherished son of Lillian Ballman and the late Gary Ballman Sr. A proud veteran, Gary honorably served his country in the United States Navy. His strength, discipline, and quiet compassion carried over into civilian life, where he continued to serve by caring deeply for others-especially his mother, whom he lovingly supported as her caregiver. Gary had a deep love for animals and found companionship and comfort in his service dogs, Bosco and Luna. He was a man of creativity and reflection, often expressing his thoughts and emotions through drawing and poetry. He also enjoyed the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle, where he could find peace and solitude. Gary was a gentle and kind-hearted soul who touched the lives of many through his quiet strength, loyalty, and unwavering devotion to family. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Ballman Sr.; his beloved son, Gary Ballman III; and his sister, Shelly Toler. He is survived by his loving mother, Lillian Ballman; his daughters, Kaydence Carpenter and Lily Ballman; and his brothers, Elmer Toler and Charles Toler. His presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who knew and loved him. A Visitation for Gary will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011.
