Gary C. Bogie

Gary Charles Bogie, 61, of Brielle, New Jersey, passed in his home after a long fought battle with cancer on February 1st, 2026.

Born in Newark in 1964 to Charles and Barbara Bogie, Gary was always an adventurous child, staying outside with his siblings until the streetlights came on. When he wasn't outside he would often be found with a book in his hand, engrossed with the story. As he grew older, Gary became unsatisfied with his path in life and sought out service in the form of the Navy immediately out of high school, planning to make it his career in life.

Gary served in the United States Navy from 1981-1987. He served at Naval Station Norfolk, and in Beirut, Lebanon. Upon discharge from the Navy, Gary lived in Virginia, North Carolina, and returned to New Jersey in 1995. Gary had set up several construction businesses, before taking a job as a superintendent for Legow Management, supervising several properties around the Shore area.

Gary is preceded in death by Barbara Bogie, his loving mother and dearly missed Grandmother. He is survived by his sister Sharon, brother Patrick and sons Jordon and Jeremy.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday February 9, 2026, from 4pm to 6pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Rd, Manasquan, NJ 08736, with a service to begin at 5pm.
