Publish in a newspaper

Age 71 Loving and dedicated husband of Patti. Beloved brother of Susan Alessio, Merry Hosel and Julie (Ronnie) Thole. Loving uncle of Heather, Michael, Eric, Kristie, Josh, and Jacob. Great uncle of 17. As an avid bowler, Gary loved traveling to tournaments all over and meeting new people. Gardening was one of his favorite things to do and love his Koi Ponds. He was a big animal lover. September of 2022, Gary was a grateful recipient of a heart transplant. He was a strong, fighter survivor. Celebration of Life for Gary will be held Saturday, August 23rd at the American Legion Riders Post 32 in Livonia. From 2:00 to 4:00 PM, we'll enjoy appetizers, connect with friends and family, and reflect on Gary's amazing life through photos and stories. At 4:00 PM, we'll serve his favorite dinner-just the way he loved it. A cash bar will be available, with pop and water provided. To honor Gary's vibrant personality and love for bold, colorful clothes, we encourage everyone to wear their favorite bowling jerseys, Tweety apparel, or tie-dye outfits. This is a celebration, not a somber event-let's come together in joy, laughter, and love, just as Gary would have wanted. August 23rd 2-6pm
