Gary Calmes Obituary
A ceremony celebrating the life of Gary A. Calmes will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2025, at Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Hammond a gathering will begin at 9:30 am until time of service at 10:00 am.
Gary was born on February 24, 1965, in Hammond and rested from this life on February 8, 2025, at the age of 59 years.
He was a resident of Hammond and a member of Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Gary worked as a flooring tile installer and had a great passion for his work. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, painting pictures of art and especially horses.
He is preceded in death by his parents William Arthur Calmes Sr and Frances Davis Calmes, siblings Arthur “Spec” Calmes Jr., James “Jimmy” Calmes, and William “Bill” Randall Calmes.
Survivors include his siblings Gail C. Arnone, Ronnie Calmes, Rev. Dennis Calmes (Carol), and Corlis Thorn (Carl), also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
