Gary Coleman Obituary
Born in 1952, raised in rough-and-tumble Linda, Ca., Ronnie was an award winning athlete at Marysville HS - class of '70. He went on to become a respected local builder and contractor for more than 40 years, known for being a hard worker and a straight shooter.
Beyond work, RC liked live music, a good Niners game or a trip to Baja. He was a born storyteller, a risk taker, and a lucky dice roller who could light up any room he walked into. His laughter and larger-than-life presence drew people in, and his big heart kept them close.
More recently, Papa Ron enjoyed simple things: toothpicks, bbq's with family and caring for the wild animals that gathered daily in what he lovingly called his "wild kingdom."
He is survived by his brother, Earl, daughter Sarah, her husband Akim and cherished grandson, Judah. Ron is preceded in death by his brothers Bill, Butch and loving parents Pauline & CW Coleman.
A celebration of life will be held at Casa Carlos in Marysville on November 6, 2:30-5:30pm.

Sarah and family,
So sorry for your loss. I have many great memories of Ron. Concerts, seeing The Rolling Stones in SF. Being roommates in East Marysville in our 20s. Too many memories to put here. He is missed!

Rest in peace Ron. You were a little fireball in our rough and tumble group of kids in the Linda neighborhood. Playing tackle football on Alicia school´s front lawn and pick up baseball at the little league field. You were always the youngest with twice the energy. Apparently that led to a successful career.
