Gary L. Dobson

Gary L. Dobson, 61, of Janesville, passed away at Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. Gary was born on February 24, 1963 in Madison, WI to the late Calvin and Hazel (Moan) Dobson. He graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1981. He worked at AT&T from 1992 until his health wouldn't let him in 2007. Gary married Jean Skalitzky on January 8, 1994 in Sun Prairie, WI. Gary loved going for motorcycle rides, golfing, scuba diving, and loved sailing and being on the water. Gary is survived by his wife: Jean Dobson; children: Calvin (Ashley Lura) Dobson, Maddy (Grant) Pleiss; granddaughters: Blakelynn and Hayden; brother: Marty (Linda) Dobson; sisters: Lynn (Kelly) Bird, Cathy (Dave) Ohm; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shelly Dobson; stepfather: Lawrence "Louie" Eidenshink. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton.
