Gary Fields Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 21, 2025.
Gary Alan Fields, age 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 8:56 PM surrounded by his loving family in the home he built in Bloomington, MN. His final days were spent surrounded by his family. He expressed that he wished these moments together would last forever but he knew it was God's will and that his time had come.
Gary was born in Amarillo, TX, and spent most of his childhood in Madison, WI. For 42 years, he was the loving husband of Julie, with whom he built a life full of love and devotion. Together, they raised their three children who will forever cherish his kindness, quick wit, spiritual example, and guidance. He always put his family and church community first. His presence will be profoundly missed but his impact will endure in the lives he touched. He was the proudest husband, father, and grandpa, and he found both purpose and joy in his family and especially loved spending time with his five grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to his family, and possessed an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Gary will be remembered by many for his signature smile.
Gary's keen interest in hydraulic and pneumatic power was fundamental to his post-secondary education and employment. He was most recently employed with Donaldson Company in Bloomington, MN, for the past 14 years. He was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan and proudly wore the jersey of player Ray Nitschke #66.

He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
