ADRIAN – Gary Wayne Fultz, age 69, of Adrian, died Wednesday afternoon, February 21, 2024, at the Hospice of Lenawee home. He was born on January 8, 1955, in Elizabethtown, KY, to Harold and Zelma (Walker) Fultz. On July 20, 1974, he married the former Cindy Sue Pinter in Tecumseh. Together they raised a daughter and shared 49 years together as husband and wife before her passing on July 27, 2023.
Gary worked as a self-employed truck driver. He was skilled at the trade of woodworking and was a lover of the outdoors. He found joy in gardening, fishing, hunting, and feeding various wildlife. Gary never knew a stranger; he enjoyed any opportunity to be social and enjoyed getting to know an individual on a personal basis. He had a generous spirit, always helping people any way he could, and was known to gift loose change to young kids.
Surviving is a daughter, Andrea (Dave) Fultz of Metamora, OH; brothers, Tommy, Dallas, Johnny, and Lloyd Fultz; and two sisters, Maryland Fultz and Debbie Williams. In addition to his wife, Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Robert and Pam Fultz; and his grand-dogs, Misty, Zoe, Cleo, Caesar and Little Joe.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Tecumseh on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Tom Coleman will officiate. Burial will follow in Lenawee County Memorial Gardens in Tecumseh.
