Marian J. Dann

MARIAN J. DANN, age 93 years of Tecumseh, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Cambrian Assisted Living, Tecumseh. She was born on June 2, 1932, in Belleville, the daughter of Henry R. and Esther J. (Savage) Deering.
Marian married Marvin L. Dann on February 11, 1951, in Belleville. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2020. She worked as a court administrator for the 15th District Court in Ann Arbor for 25 years, retiring in 1994. Marian was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Saline. She was an avid golfer, recording two holes in one and was a member of the Tecumseh Country Club.
Marian is survived by her three children, Gerald (Lila) Dann, Karen Wood (Michael Sheats) and Laura Tabion, two grandsons, Michael Wood and Matthew Wood, three great-grandsons, Alexander, Maxwell and Hendrix Wood, three sisters, Carol Lindemann, Phyllis (Richard) Smith and Verna Kobish and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. and a Celebration of Life will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Jacob Haag officiating. Private inurnment of her ashes next to her husband will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.
