It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Jacob Ganaway, who left us on November 3, 2025, at the age of 35. Born on June 20, 1990, in Morgan City, LA,
Gary was a cherished son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend to many.He is survived by his loving mother, Verna Ganaway; Papa Pablo Montilla his siblings, Gregory Ganaway Jr.(Kaitlin), Gracey Ganaway, Zachary Montilla, and Juan Montilla; and his beloved nieces, Harper and Avery Ganaway. His cherished grandmother, Mary Helman
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Ganaway Sr., Grandparents, George Ganaway, Omicle "Lee" Ganaway and Leroy Helman.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Gary's life at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on November 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Gary will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.Gary will be missed deeply, but his spirit will live on in the stories we share and the love we carry in our hearts. Rest easy, Gary will always be remembered.
