It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Mary Rhodes, who left us on November 4, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on March 13, 1931, in Big Fork, Louisiana, Elizabeth spent her life nurturing her family and creating a warm home for those she loved.Elizabeth was a devoted mother to her three daughters: Elizabeth Spencer, Regina Guidry, and Rita Boudwin and fiancé K.P. Breaux. Elizabeth is also survived by her grandchildren, Rickie Boudwin Jr. (Mandy), Stephen Spencer, Joe Spencer, Tom Spencer (Joy), Cassie Votaw (Troy), Emily Thompson (Cade), Leon Guidry and Alexis Guidry, 14 great grandchildren. She found immense joy in her role as a homemaker, cherishing every moment spent with her family and friends. Her warm spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Rhodes, parents, Cleveland Mason and Rita Hymel Mason, brothers, Manuel Mason, Egbert Mason, sisters, Hilda Hebert, Alice Thibodeaux, Edna Bougue, Eva Mayon, 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild, son-in-law, Rickie Boudwin Sr.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a public viewing on November 10, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church. A Mass celebrating Elizabeth's life will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Morgan City Cemetery.
