Gary James Gustafson

Gary James Gustafson, age 65 of Appleton, passed away peacefully after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease. He was born on August 25, 1958 in Fond du Lac to Charles and Ann Marie (Welsh) Gustafson. Gary graduated from Fond du Lac High School, class of 1976. He drove delivery truck for Coca-Cola for many years. He enjoyed tinkering, mostly with cuckoo clocks, at one time having over 35 restored clocks on his wall at home. Gary loved nature and just being outside, he loved spending time gardening. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include, his husband, James Knott, mother, Ann Gustafson, brother, Robert Gustafson, sister, Debra Wingier and Brother in law, Bob Biondi. Gary is further survived by his nieces, nephews, close friends and his fur babies; Lucky, Constance, Sara, Leo, Yoshi and Princess KD.
Preceding Gary in death are his father and his sister, Glenda Biondi.
There will be a celebration of life held for Gary at a later date.
The family would like to thank Melissa Tessen, his amazing caregiver for years as well as Patty Owen, his best friend, for the support given, especially these last few years.
