Gary Douglas Hagy

Gary Douglas Hagy, 63, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born April 6, 1962, in Baltimore, Maryland, Gary was known for his generosity, humor, and boisterous spirit. He graduated from Westminster High School in 1980, where he was a standout in track and field. A lifelong golfer and proud Freemason, Gary spent much of his career as a private investigator and later earned his barber's license. In retirement, he also worked as a Golf Ambassador at Queenstown Harbor, where his warmth and conversation were a perfect fit. Gary cherished time spent with family and friends, especially at Beach Harbor Co-Op. Becoming a grandfather was one of his greatest joys, and he doted on his grandson, John. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Elyse, and a loving husband to his wife, Tammy, whose care and support enriched his life immeasurably. Gary is survived by his wife, Tammy; daughter, Elyse, and son-in-law, Patrick; grandson, John; stepdaughters, Kelsey, Grace (Patric), and Madeline; his mother, Elaine Hagy; siblings Nelson (Pam), Nancy (Pat), and Sandra (Jerry); and sister-in-law, Maxine Hagy. He was predeceased by his father, Titus Hagy, and brother, Allen Hagy. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 2–5 pm at Queenstown Harbor Golf Resort, 310 Links Lane, Queenstown, MD, to share memories and celebrate Gary's life. Gary's laughter, kindness, and love will be deeply missed.
