Gary "Scott" Hawkins, 61, of Lapel, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, following a sudden illness.
He was born on July 25, 1964, in Hamilton, Ohio to Gary Lee Hawkins and Donna (Meador) Monceaux. He was a graduate of Eunice High School. He was a welder at Lenex in Indianapolis.He enjoyed watching TV, Nascar, football and fishing. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Scott is survived by his wife, Isabell (Hunts) Hawkins; two sons, Zack Hawkins and Nathaniel Hawkins; a granddaughter, Keira Hawkins; two brothers, Rob Hawkins and Michael Hawkins; two sisters, Tonya Badger and Linda Mache; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Maurice and Maxine Hawkins and Ed and Alene Meadors.
There will be no services for Scott. Cremation will take place.
