Gary Dean Huber, the son of Gerald and Mertie (Hinders) Huber, was born on January 1, 1950 in Buffalo Center, Iowa. He graduated from Burt High School in 1968. On June 22, 1968 Gary was united in marriage with Linda Kruse at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lotts Creek. He farmed most of his life, raised cattle early on and also drove truck.
Gary enjoyed going to car races, talking on the telephone, tinkering on trucks with his grandson, Luke, hunting, fishing and camping. He loved to spend time with his family and playing cards during the holidays.
Left to cherish Gary's memory is his wife of 56 years, Linda; sons, Lynn (Alicia) Huber of Freeport, IL and Lee (Brenda) Huber of Bancroft; grandchildren, Luke Huber and Faith Huber of Bancroft. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
