Gary Durand Humbert, 45 of Canton, GA., passed away Monday, May 5, 2025, at Northside Hospital Cherokee. The family will receive friends at Darby Funeral Home on Friday, May 9th from 11am-3pm. The funeral service will follow at 3pm in the chapel of Darby Funeral Home with Chris Collett officiating. He was preceded in death by his brother, Todd Humbert. He is survived by:
His loving Wife - Amanda Humbert of Canton, GA.
Daughter - Destiny Rose Humbert of Duluth, GA.
Son - Gregory Allen Humbert of Canton, GA.
Mother - Nancy Frazee of Markleysburg, PA.
Father - Gary Humbert of Vanderbilt, PA.
Brother - Michael Humbert of Markleysburg, PA.
Gary loved hunting which led him to much traveling to do so. He always put other people's needs before his own. He did this to a fault. Gary used his love for music to express himself and his emotions. His family and friends always knew what he was feeling based on what music he was listening to. He was a dedicated and hard worker and loved the people who worked for him. Gary always made sure they were taken care of. He will be truly missed by all those who knew him.
The caring staff of Darby Funeral Home is honored to serve the Humbert family.
The funeral service will be live-streamed at: https://vimeo.com/event/5120295

So very sorry for your loss. I know Gary from the Vo-Tech school. I taught the Culinary Arts program. Although he was in Electricy, I did see him a lot even after graduation. He was a sweet ,kind, and great person. Sending prayers.
