Gary Lee Johnson

Gary Lee Johnson, age 77, of Seaford, DE, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026. He was born in Trenton, NJ on September 8, 1948, the son of the late John and Doris Johnson.

Gary was a retired Sergeant with the State of New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission, he was a Trenton, NJ police officer, and a volunteer Fireman and EMT. He had many hobbies to include, watch collecting, cooking and baking, fishing, but most importantly he loved to spend time with his family.

Gary was a US Army Veteran, he was a member of the American Legion Post 6 in Seaford, DE, and he was also a past member of the Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Doris Johnson, his wife, Nancy Johnson, his sister, Doreen Zak, and his brother, Alfred Johnson.

Gary is survived by his daughters, Michelle Lee Vickers (John) and Ann Marie Marant (John), three grandchildren, Antoinette Vickers (Dylan), Amber Vickers, and John Vickers, two great grandchildren, Lauren Hanson and Cameron Hanson, his brother, Douglas Johnson, his beloved dog, Bubba, as well as many nieces and nephews.
