It was an honor to attend your Funeral Mass today. Kind, reliable, big heart, good man, words being attributed to a lifelong friend. During one of the most difficult times in my life, while my daughter was fighting for her life on ecmo in the cardiac intensive care unit, Gary and Suzanne were on "dog duty" for us and sending us pictures to lighten our mood. I was proud to be there when you married Suzanne 37 years ago chuckling to myself what you were in for with two brothers and a dad who was...let´s say...protective of his only daughter! I was happy to provide reassurance when you showed up at my law office unannounced concerned about Suzanne when "adulting" and buying your next home became a bit overwhelming. I guess what I am trying to say is that life is sometimes hard and it was nice to be able to share the good moments and not so good moments with our friend Gary. While we talked about it, I´m sorry I did not get the chance to have you teach me how to fly fish. I trust that you are on your favorite river landing the big ones and waiting to tell us all about it!

Today is the day of my friend's funeral. I miss you Gary and feel privileged to have known you for many years. Our usual group of work friends gathered a couple of weeks ago to celebrate your life and share memories of the fun times we have all shared.
You will always be remembered.

Suzanne, I've been thinking about you and Ally and lifting you up in prayer. My words seem inadequate however know you are loved. I made a donation to UCCT in Gary's honor. I also have a little something special being delivered to your house in early March. Your friend, Christy Williams

Hi Suzanne, to say that I have been worried about you is an understatement! I have been praying constantly for you and Ally. I pray that God surrounds you all with peace and comfort in the days ahead, and that he gives you all of the reserves of strength physically and mentally that you will need! I hope that you feel all of the thoughts and love pouring from so many people towards you! Gods eternal and everlasting blessings to you and your family!

Hey Suzanne words cannot express my profound sorrow for you and your daughter and of course all of your family. My heart breaks for you and i know you must be going through so many emotions right now. I pray that you can find peace in all of this and know that Gary will always live on through your wonderful memories and through your daughter.
I wish I had the right words to say but of course you and your family will be in my prayers.
My deepest sympathies,
George
