Gary R. Kauth

Gary R. Kauth, 84, formerly of Palmer Twp. passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Gracedale Nursing Home. Born in Fountain Hill on August 17, 1940, he was the son of the late Alfred and Clara (Ihle) Kauth. He graduated from Easton High School in 1958. He served in the Unites States Navy on the USS Bennington during the Vietnam War. Upon his discharge, he went to work for the Metropolitan Edison Company as an Electrician before retiring in 1995. Gary was a member of the IBEW Local 603.
He is survived by his sons, Alfred J. Kauth and his wife, Teresa of Palmer Twp., PA; Stephen M. Kauth of Palmer Twp., PA; daughter, Ann Marie J. Serfass and her husband, Brian of Palmer Twp.; grandchildren, Kyli, Erika, Jessica, Ella Rose, Jonah; great-grandchildren, Everest, Ellian, Haven Rose, Macey, and Wyatt.
In addition to his parents, Gary was predeceased by his wife, Rose Marie A. (Scalzo) Kauth; sisters, Stafanie Kauth and Nancy Jean Xander.
At Gary's request, services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.).
