Carol Lynn Kauth nee McLaughlin, born November 22, 1940, age 84,
took Jesus' hand as she went to Heaven on December 17, 2024. Carol
grew up in
Canton, Ohio and gra McKinley High School. Carol met her
husband, Dave, of 64 years at Calvary Church. They started their family
shortly after, welcoming daughter, Jodene, and son, Greg. Carol worked
at Harter Bank and as a driver's education instructor. But most of her
life, she found her calling as a stay-at-home mom.
Carol loved Jesus, her husband, Dave and her family. She adored her
grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved nothing better than
spending time with them. Carol embraced her church family both at
Greenwood Christian Church in
Canton, Ohio and Christ Venice Church
in Venice. Florida. In retirement, they spent their winters in Venice,
enjoying the sunshine. Carol enjoyed baking, cooking, playing golf and
supporting her family in all they were involved in. Carol lived a life of
service to God, to her family, and to her friends. She humbly served
everyone around her without ever seeking recognition.
She is survived by her husband, David P. Kauth; sister, Ruth nee
McLaughlin (Elam) Bruegger; children, daughter Jodene Dye nee Kauth
and son Greg (Chrissy nee Hoagland) Kauth; her grandchildren: Devin
(Briana nee Rockich) Dye, Elyse nee Dye (Brandon) Cummings, Emalee
