Gary Andrew "Whitey" Kohrs

Gary Andrew "Whitey" Kohrs, age 70, of Burlington, KY passed away on February 27, 2024. Whitey was born in Dayton, KY on October 17, 1953 to Jerome Kohrs and Bettie Moore Kohrs. He was a member of Burlington Baptist Church worked as a backhoe operator for Robertson Plumbing until 1994 when he started his own company. Whitey loved his family but especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with family whether it was watching his grandchildren compete in sports or relaxing with family and friends on Lake Cumberland. These were two of his favorite activities to do. He is preceded in death by his Parents Jerome and Bettie Kohrs and Sisters Pam Hallbach and Susan Kraemer. Whitey is survived by his Wife of nearly 50 years Connie Scroggin Kohrs, Daughter Shannon VonEye (Tom), Son Matt Kohrs (Tina), Brothers (Twin Brother) Jerry Kohrs (Carla) and Mark Kohrs, and Grandchildren Paige, Colton, and Waylon. Visitation will be from 12 PM – 2 PM with the Funeral Service to follow at 2 PM on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Burlington Baptist Church, 3031 Washington St., Burlington, KY 41005.
